Chiropractor

Dr. Mark S. Stagg was born in Newfoundland, Canada where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. He played and coached rugby for many years, receiving player of the year and coaching teams to provincial championships. Dr. Stagg is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and enjoys treating athletes and instucting them in injury prevention. As a father of three, he is involved in local sports teams. He has served as a professional mentor for medical students at Bastyr University and an adjunct faculty member for Marshall University School of Medicine. Dr. Stagg has completed extensive training in proper treatment protocols for patients involved in work injuries and auto accidents.  He takes a special interest in not only getting patients out of pain but making sure all their health goals are addressed. Dr. Stagg previously practiced in the Seattle area, winning chiropractic clinic of the year. He is an active member of the Connecticut Chiropractic Association.


Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Jennifer J. Stagg was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. She attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Nutrition. As an undergrad, she trained in lab research focusing on medicinal plants and immunology. Following graduation, she attended the University of Iowa as a doctoral student in biochemistry. Dr. Stagg left the field of research to pursue a career in natural medicine at the leading institution for science-based natural medicine, Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, graduating with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine. She continued with her research in medicinal plants and cancer at the NIH-funded Bastyr Research Center. Dr. Stagg is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Connecticut Naturopathic Physicians Association. She is past medical editor for the internationally known Journal of Herbs, Spices and Medicinal Plants.

Dr. Todd Born earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Arizona University and his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. He completed his naturopathic residency training at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. During his residency his integrative medicine expertise was further honed with rotations in Virginia Mason Hospital’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spine Clinic, Swedish Family Medicine’s department of Integrative Medicine and Harborview Medical Center’s Emergency Department in Seattle, WA.  Past accomplishments include the Bastyr University Graduate Fund Scholarship, a venture grant to the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London and the Outstanding Teaching Award from Hess Educational Organization in Taichung City, Taiwan. He is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Born’s clinical focus is on chronic diseases, difficult-to-treat or refractory cases, endocrine issues, neurological/neurodevelopmental disorders, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, environmental and geriatric medicine. He has particular interest in integrative medicine, homeopathy, biotherapeutic drainage, physical medicine, Ayurveda, diet and nutrient therapies, and botanical medicine. Dr. Born believes that ultimately we are all responsible for our own health and well-being; that at times throughout our lives, we stray off that path and with a little guidance can get back on the road to optimal health. He pledges to work with you and your other health care practitioners to help you achieve your health goals.

Dr. Lindsay Jones grew up in Seattle, WA and received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and a BA in Dance and BA in Psychology from the University of Washington. Prior to pursuing her naturopathic medical degree, she was a certified EMT, Orangutan Unit Keeper Aid at the Woodland Park Zoo and worked for the University of Washington Athletic Department. Dr. Jones completed her residency training at the Ayurvedic and Naturopathic Medical Clinic with Virender Sodhi, MD (Ayurved), ND, through the Bastyr University residency program. While at Bastyr University she gained experience in other areas of medicine through her work in Laboratory Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center and Experimental Histopathology at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Jones utilizes integrative medicine to focus on chronic disease, women’s health, weight management, detoxification and stress management. In addition, Dr. Jones has extensive knowledge in Ayurveda, Biotherapeutic Drainage, Homeopathy, Physical Medicine and Diet and Nutrient therapy. She emphasizes practicing medicine with passion and compassion, and to always strive to help people find the answers for which they are searching.

 Dr. Keith Yimoyines grew up in Redding, CT. He received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. He attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA receiving a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a minor in history. Prior to becoming a naturopathic physician, Dr. Yimoyines worked as a sports broadcaster. He is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Yimoyines concentrated on Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, clinical nutrition, physical medicine and homeopathy during his training. His clinical focus is on autoimmune conditions, acute and chronic pain management, men’s health, and weight management.

Donatella Fino graduated from the prestigious Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) in 2002. She completed over 1000 hours of hands on instruction, including an internship with the University of Colorado Dal Ward Athletic Center, clinical hours to members of the community, and on-site massage at various marathons. Following her instruction at BCMT, Donatella went on to expand her career in health and science, earning a bachelor degree in molecular biology at Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts. While receiving her degree, she continued to work as a massage therapist. Donatella uses her educational background to help facilitate her clients’ health and well being, while working on the mind-body connection. She continues her training and will become certified in manual lymphatic drainage this year, to help assist post-surgical and lymphedema patients.

Donna Mullen was born and raised in Connecticut and attended the University of Connecticut, where she obtained a B.A. in psychology and a B.S. in sociology. Donna graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2008 and is a licensed massage therapist in CT. Her clinical experience ranges from working with elite athletes at events such as the Hartford Marathon and several bike races, to working with those coping with physical limitations at an assisted living facility. Donna's extensive background in dance and competitive gymnastics contributes to her intuitive understanding of the human body. Her athletic experience, study of kinesiology, sports massage, and personal training give Donna an advantage whether working with competitive athletes, weekend warriors, or those looking for an escape from everyday stress. By listening to each client's present and long term goals, she strives to make her client’s massage session one that is both enjoyable and therapeutic. She is currently pursuing her masters in counseling at Central Connecticut State University.
